Our Story
Barncroft Holiday Cottage is attached to a 17th Century farmhouse. It was originally a barn used to provided shelter for animals. There is still evidence of this within the large attached storage buildings which are now very useful for guests who like to bring their own bikes e.t.c.

Owners Jacqui and Nigel began work to renovate the cottage to give it a new 'lease of life'. The converted Barn is now a clean, warm and inviting holiday let, offering self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests.

This spacious, 2 bedroomed home has all the modern amenities and lots of cottage charm. Barncroft is fully kitted out for your needs ensuring it's a 'Home from Home' experience (without all the chores!!)

Come discover the beauty of West Cumbria away from the typical busy tourist locations. Conveniently situated on the A595, just 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Cockermouth, this beautiful barn conversion offers a great base to explore the Lake District. Keswick, Bassenthwaite Lake and the magnificent fells and peaks of Blencathra and Skiddaw are all within 25 minutes drive.
